After spending time evaluating the opportunities presented by digital labeling printing, VIP Label, an Argentina-based converter, decided to invest in an Epson SurePress L4533AW with a GM DC330 digital finishing line.
With the move, VIP has hopes of positioning itself as a top five label printer in the Argentine market. In 2019, VIP Label began researching digital label printing. After more than a year of evaluating this business opportunity, the company decided to invest in this burgeoning technology.
“Our journey to be amongst the top five players in the Argentinian Label market does not stop here," says Leandro Serrano, owner of VIP Label. "Our next objective is to be able to incorporate even more new technologies in label inspection and rewinding equipment, and successively to grow in digital production in 2022.”
VIP Label's new digital division is specialized in thermal printing for labels with barcodes and low volume QR codes. After a good start in digital printing, there are more steps ahead in their plan to become one of the biggest players in the labels market while offering products for all market segments.
The company has dedicated itself to the production and printing of labels, with and without adhesive. VIP Label is a company with more than 20 years of experience in the market, where its director and founder, Daniel Serrano, has more than 30 years of experience in the Argentine market of self-adhesive labels.
Epson America, Lumila and GM have jointly supported VIP Label in its journey to enter the digital label printing and finishing market. Lumila is the Epson and GM representative for Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay.
