Messe Düsseldorf Asia and joint organizer Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur, PT have decided to move INDOPLAS, INDOPACK and INDOPRINT to August 31 – September 3, 2022 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo). The Indonesian International Plastics, Packaging and Printing Exhibitions were originally scheduled for October 13 – 16, 2021.
“With the recent increase in COVID-19 infections in Indonesia and in the Southeast Asian region, in addition to the ongoing travel restrictions and various quarantine requirements, this has made it extremely challenging for many of our international exhibitors and visitors to responsibly plan their participation at INDOPLAS, INDOPACK and INDOPRINT scheduled to happen in just about two months’ time,” explains Gernot Ringling, managing director of Messe Düsseldorf Asia. “The latest developments and growing uncertainties have greatly impacted expectations and with such strong international participation, we felt the decision could not be delayed. In order to deliver the benefits of an international trade fair, we are therefore looking ahead to 2022 with more confidence.”
Rini Sumardi, director, Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur, PT, comments, “For better planning security, we will look forward to next year. We would like to thank all the exhibitors who have supported us and remained optimistic along with us so far. We are heartened by the continued encouragement and we are committed to turn this into motivation to drive greater success for INDOPLAS, INDOPACK and INDOPRINT 2022 – with many new features for exhibitors and trade visitors wanting to experience and discuss innovations in the co-related industries.”
