TLMI has announced that the association will be sponsoring a Workforce Webinar featuring Claudia St. John, president of Affinity HR Group, on Wednesday, August 18 at 2 pm EST. During her presentation, St. John will review her company’s mid-year 2021 Labor Market Summary and answer attendee’s workforce questions.
The event, open to all TLMI members in addition to prospective members, will cover the most pressing issues employers are facing in today’s marketplace, including hiring trends, wage growth, compensation and benefits trends, vaccine requirements, masking and hybrid work scenarios and the legislation driving mandates and companies’ evolving internal policies.

Dale Coates, TLMI director of engagement, comments, “Although payrolls continue to increase, with 943,000 jobs added in the month of July, many companies in our industry are reporting that they are still finding it difficult to attract and retain qualified employees. I encourage our current and prospective members to join Claudia during her presentation on August 18 as she takes us through the current state of the US labor market and ways that TLMI members can navigate and implement policies and continued protocols that keep their employees safe. Claudia will also spend time discussing one of the most critical issues our industry faces today – hiring and retaining talent – and sharing her recommendations as to how we can most effectively position our companies and work cultures in an increasingly competitive market.”
