Nilpeter.
Andersen, who was born in 1949, joined Nilpeter at the age of 15 for an apprenticeship in the machine shop. Five years later, he received his diploma as skilled machinist.
Andersen ascended in the company over the ensuing 16 years, operating advanced drilling and milling machinery, and CNC-operated lathe.
On December 1, 1985, he was appointed foreman of Nilpeter’s machine shop and parts assembly.
In 1987, Nilpeter established a new assembly, thus creating a new service organization. Kurt Andersen was appointed head of service and fitting of Nilpeter presses worldwide. He still holds that position today.
