Advanced Vision Technology (AVT), a manufacturer of automatic inspection systems for printing applications, has announced the signing of a distribution agreement with Nilpeter China. The agreement, says AVT, is targeted toward the label and narrow web sectors.
Nilpeter, the press manufacturer based in Slagelse, Denmark, launched its China operation in 2004 with offices in Shanghai and Shenzhen. “Eager to improve print quality and reduce waste, our customers were seeking advanced technologies to meet these challenges,” says Ramon Lee, Nilpeter China’s general manager. “AVT's fault-free, 100 percent automatic inspection platform was found to be the best, field-proven solution.”
“With Nilpeter China as our partners we can better meet the specific needs of the quality-driven Chinese market,” says Gal Shamri, vice president of marketing for AVT, which is based in Hod-Hasharon, Israel. The company has had an office in China for two years, headed by William Bai.
